So I haven't post on here in a while. Before I was just in and out of the house a lot and never had time to get on to write anything. Then on the 4th of July, I left on vacation with the whole family. I have been in Hungary since the 5th and will be leaving tomorrow. I am saddened that we are leaving so soon, but the time here was well spent. We did many things, such as visiting with family and going to see many different things in Budapest and more. My favorite things that we did (besides visiting family) were seeing the older historical things and going to the Puszta. The Puszta is in the country and we got to see a horse show there. The whole place was really neat. There were a couple dogs there that followed us around. Monica even named them. One of the historical things that we did was visit a World War II hospital. They had 70 wax figures and all of the medical equipment was from the 50's and 60's.
Tonight we are going to our last dinner here with the family. We are going to see folk dance. I am sad that we are leaving and I don't know when I will be able to get back and see my family again. We have been trying to convince them to come visit us in the states so we can show them around just like they have been showing us around. I really hope that they do choose to come visit. But either way I think that we all have made good memories together. Whether it was the way Gabi pronounced english words or just visiting the places as a family.
As we have been going places, we have been taking pictures and I have had a video camera. I am curious to see how the videos and pictures have come out and what candid shots we have gotten. I hope to bwe able to get the big family picture that was taken up on Castle Hill. This picture has all of us and Attila, Gabi and Urchi Bachi.
But for now, I am just going to cherish the last of the time that we have left and remember all of the wonderful memories that we have. I do hope to come back sometime in the future, but this will probably be the only time that we all come as a family.

Poison...
The other day mom, Bill, Pat, Monica, Phil, and myself were weeding the front yard. Some how only Bill and I managed to get into something. He and I were the only ones on the side of the driveway pulling weeds but thats not to say that it wasn't from the top of the hill seeing as we were both in there that day too with other people. Bill thinks that he saw poison oak on the side of the driveway. I think I saw poison ivy but i wasn't sure if it was and when I went to the doctors office yesterday, she told me that it was poison sumac. So I still don't know exactly what I got myself into but either way I got into something. I am just waiting for it to go away. I don't want to have any of this when I go to Hungary.

Time Well Spent
Yesterday, I went to my Grandparent's house for the day. My Grandmother needed help getting in touch with my cousin from Hungary. I got on to AIM and talked to him for a few minutes there and then went on to Skype to be able to video chat with him. It is a lot easier then trying to read typed words on a screen.
I found out that there really isn't much planned for the trip. But, there are many ideas on what to do. My cousin, Attila decided that he is going to show us around. Some of the places that we are going to go see he hasn't been to. He is even nice enough to greet us when we get off of the plane and help finding the transportation that we are going to need to get around.
I am so excited to go and see the country. I have been waiting to go for awhile now and being able to go with my family makes this trip sound even better. I wasn't even sure if I was going to go in the future. I can't wait to see what memories we are all going to make together.
After we finished talking with Attila, I went online to try to find things that I thought would be interesting to do, but all I could find were things that we had already talked about so I gave up. After this some more talking about some of the minor aspects of the trip and then the best part happened...Dinner!
Grampa decided that he wanted to make a Hungarian dish for dinner and asked me if I would like to stay. I thought that this was a great time to stay and try something new. I enjoyed dinner. I don't have any idea on how to spell the name, but basically it was pork, sour cream, paprika, black pepper, bell pepper, and onions over egg noodles. During dinner there was some more chatter about the trip and how we all thought that the dish would be too hot for my mother. (But we love her anyways!)

Today
I got up this morning expecting it to be really hot out, but so far it isn't. Either way I don't think I will be going on a walk across town because chances are it will get hot when I'm about halfway there. I will save it for another day.
I haven't quite figured out what I am going to do today. Time will tell.

Long Time Without Writing
I know I haven't written on here in a long time, but I have been busy. My dad came home for Memorial Day Weekend. I was really nice to see him but he won't be back until July, just in time for the big family vacation. (I can't wait). But anyways that weekend, the whole family went to my Grandparent's house for dinner to celebrate Memorial Day. It was so much fun, except for the fact that I hurt my ankle the day before, while swimming in the Salmon River. But lately I have been hanging out with Bill during the day (there isn't much to do at my house during the day with everyone at school). I am thinking about doing something different tomorrow. I'm going to go on my walk and probably stop at my Grandparent's house, if it isn't too hot. I will see in the morning.
But for now my mom is in the kitchen and I feel like going to talk with her. It's been awhile.
